After explaining in our last post what kind of contract Acttiv offers, today we will try to answer another question frequently asked to our team in HR…. When and where can I work with Acttiv?
There are more than 600 people working with Acttiv at the moment and the enclosed graphic is showing you where they are placed.
We are aware that when many of you come to Spain to work as entertainer you hear for first time terms as NAF, NIE and “Seguridad Social”… you deal for first time with a contract in a foreign country and it is even written in Spanish…. obviously you freak out with all of this!
Today and in our following posts we will try to give you an answer to common comments and questions we are often asked to. Hope it helps you and, above all, we would like to encourage you to ask any further question you may have or suggest new topics.
Let’s start with the basics:
We have a great piece of news to share with you: we have launched a new web site in www.acttiv.net. And what is even more interesting we have created a special section to collect different activities you may want to implement.
We know behind many entertainers, there is a passion for travelling. And let´s leave the difference clear, we like thinking about ourselves as travelers and not tourists.
The new trends say that in this new way of travelling the city is no longer what matters, we search for experiences. Let´s take an easy Spanish example. Certainly if Pamplona is widely popular is not because it is a beautiful city founded in Roman times that still conserves three of the four sides of the city walls now surrounded by a pretty park. These gifts are not their main attractions, if Pamplona is popular is thanks to Ernest Hemingway that brought to widespread attention the San Fermín festival and the running of the bulls or encierro tradition.
Few days back we shared in the post Our first 2010 training course final show just the end of the show hold in Lanzarote by the participants from our first training course 2010. The show was called Highlights and it had a good mix of different songs. As we have received good feedback from it, we had decided to edit a new video with a bit of different songs that make a better picture about how the show went. Here you go:
Between 1st and 10th February Acttiv has hold the first training course scheduled for 2010 and the video attached below is just the end of the final practical lesson: the creation of a show!

Here is the video for you to enjoy for first time or to make you laugh once again.
“Where there is a will, there is a way.” That´s how the popular saying challenges us but then fears and insecurities come up and, of course, anything is “easier said than done”. Every course organized to train new Tourist Entertainers has something that never ceases to surprise us: we can certainly say that 95% of the participants discover during it they are actually able to do many things they couldn’t ever imagined.
