Continuing our “Meet the Acttiv Team ” series, we’re proudly introducing you to another of our members: Janine, our Tenerife coordinator.

Acttiv began its first Tourist Entertainer Online Course in March 2012 and it was an exciting first year of growth and transformation for us.

To celebrate this one-year mark, we are very pleased to share a compilation of some of our students videos. During the 21 days that lasts the course, the future entertainers recorded videos of minidiscos, dance clubs, fitness trainings, make-ups and microphone tecniques.

“¡Con los terroristas!” Does it sound familiar? If it does it may be because of the viral video called the “Harlem Shake.” So what’s this meme?

The Harlem Shake consists of a 30 second video starting with one person dancing in front of apparently oblivious people. Once the beat drops, everyone appears dressed up with weird costumes and dancing like crazy. The track to every video is DJ Baauer’s song Harlem Shake.

The video needs to follow some rules, but improvisation is always welcome. Let’s take a look at the Harlem Shake’s essential ingredients:

In a large bowl, mix two parts Labor Assistant with one part Entertainer, sprinkle in a dash of English Philology and Social Tourist  Guide. In a separate dish stir two parts son and unkle to one part friend, with a hint of serial lover and art passionate. Combine and lightly fold until mixed thoroughly. Serve with fresh tuna sushi at room temperature.
